I studied at the PCPA (Theater, Dance, Voice & Music) at Brooklyn College (on weekends) from when I was in Kindergarten at P.S. 107 in South Park Slope ALL the way through graduating from High School at nearby Edward R. Murrow High School in Midwood, and into my two gap years in between High School
After the Covid period was over, I was looking for activity classes such as piano, dance, drum, musical theory for my six-year-old boy to help him reduce the use of electronic devices, playing games on the computer and sitting at home, because it was affecting both his physical and mental health.
