New York Aikikai is a traditional Aikido dojo with highly skilled instructors; students and instructors study techniques in a very safe environment. The dojo offers many classes throughout the day, this availability creates many opportunities for training early in the morning, noon and afternoon.
I love the NY Aikikai. After a lengthy search to find an aikido home I finally found this one, and couldn't be happier. For people coming one time to visit or for those who are just starting their aikido journey, there is a place for you on our mat.
I was here maybe 6-7 years ago. The dojo and instruction itself are really great, but I can’t say the same about the atmosphere.
