Children at Uncommon get accepted into college at 4 times the rate of similar schools. Principals prefer working at Uncommon because they can meet kids where they are. Students here are treated like prisoners. I went on a tour and there were children literally coloring worksheets with grey pencils. They weren't allowed to use colored pencils. The place was silent and very sad. Little enthusiasm about learning like their website suggests.

The high schools are ran like correctional facilities. The children are desocialized and taught to operate like robots. All of the teachers stick together, even when one is wrong. If there's an issue, it will be a constant uphill battle. Don't send your kid here. They will hate school.
