What should a weekend Mandarin class look like for a 4-year-old beginner who enjoys songs but isn't ready for much writing?
We're interested in a weekend Mandarin class for my 4-year-old. She likes copying songs, but the trial materials include quite a bit of tracing. I don't need fast progress. I want to understand what a beginner would actually spend the class doing.
I'd ask for a rough breakdown of the session and whether writing is optional at that age. For my kid I'd choose a class with enough listening, talking, movement and play that refusing a worksheet doesn't mean refusing the whole lesson.
