Which first music class would you choose for a 3-year-old who loves singing but mostly wants to grab every instrument in sight?
My 3yo sings through breakfast and makes a drum out of everything. I keep seeing music-and-movement groups, instrument sampler classes and actual lessons. We just want a nice fall activity, not a tiny musician career plan. What would you try first?
I'd pick a class where exploring instruments is part of the plan, not something they're constantly being stopped from doing. Before booking, I'd ask how they handle handing instruments out and collecting them again. That would tell me whether the hour is likely to be fun for us.
